COVID-19

Thank you so much for your support of El Techo! We have implemented robust safety measures to keep everyone happy and healthy while joining us on the roof. Here is what to expect when dining with us:

Reservations are encouraged. Reservations can be made via Resy through the reservations tab on our site.

All guests will have their temperature taken and asked if they are currently experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 prior to entering El Techo. All guests' registering an above normal temperature or currently experiencing COVID-19 symptoms will be denied entry.

Guests without reservations will be asked for contact information prior to being seated in order to assist with contact tracing.

Guests' must wear masks when not eating or drinking (this means entering the restaurant, going to the bathroom, exiting the restaurant, etc.).

El Techo staff will be masked at all times.

All tables have a 90-minute time limit.

Tables are limited to six people per party and spaced six feet apart. Some smaller parties may be seated at opposite ends of large tables in order to maximize spacing. If your party is asked to do this, you always have the right to decline and wait for a private table to open up.

QR codes will be available to scan for electronic menus on your phone.

Service style will be minimal in order to limit interactions between guests and staff.

Placing full order at the beginning of the meal is encouraged to minimize interaction with staff.

One-time use cups, plates, and silverware are in use.

Hand sanitizer is readily available throughout the restaurant.

Seating areas will be sanitized after each party. All common and high-touch areas (bathrooms, door handles, etc.) are sanitized regularly throughout service and prior to/after every service.

Our rooftop is equipped with UV light and CDC-approved MERV-13 air filtration systems
